The Mayor of Chipperton

Anyone who knows me well & has witnessed me in my natural habitat knows that I am a bottomless well of shamefully inane nicknames for my animal companions. But I thought I needed to share with you the current (i.e. this week's) nickname for my chi-peke mix, Dexter, as it's an especially good one -- well, "good" is relative, I guess. And yes, I really did spend the better part of an hour making a mayoral sash just for this photo.


In more productive news, I am officially doing the bridesmaids gifts for a friend's upcoming wedding which I'm totally psyched about & I added 2 images to my style diary this week:

YAY! Enough of this winter stuff already. Let's see, things I'm working on... I added 3 items to my etsy shop:

and I added 3 outfits to my stylediary:

Aside from that, I now have a landing page for all of my URLs. I don't have a website yet per se, but it's a start ;)

Time is my enemy...

What I wouldn't give for 2 hours to be tacked on to every day. I'm struggling to accomplish all of the things I'd like to get done, so I really need to re-evaluate my schedule. Working full time pays the bills, but between that & 2 hours of commuting each week day, I'm tired & VERY short on time...

That said, things I *did* manage to accomplish these past couple of weeks:

1) I've started on some really exciting new products (I'm not ready to reveal them yet, but I'll post pix here as soon as they're done!)

2) I managed to move all 5 of my domain names over to GoDaddy, where it's way cheaper & you get a lot for what you pay for. I'm setting up a tumblr site for free (I'm currently paying $150 for domain hosting right now with no bells OR whistles included) & it's going to have all of my links on it. I got the idea from My Little Big Head's site (Andrea Gutierrez, you are my hero!)

3)I began work on a new website layout, but I'm not sure how long it will take to get online... I hope not too terribly long...

4) I started a style diary on StyleHive & I finally fixed a vintage dress yesterday that I'm dying to add to it!!! Here's a sneak peek at my style diary so far...
